Hello! I'm Rei, an official Notion ambassador.
For those of you who post on social media, this may be a bit sudden, but what tools do you use to manage your posting content and schedule?
With so many social media platforms out there these days, it can be quite a challenge to keep an eye on multiple platforms at the same time.
This time, we would like to introduce a social media planner template that allows you to manage multiple social media accounts at once using Notion, which we recommend to anyone who posts on social media!
The template we will introduce this time is a recommended example of how to use it not only for managing personal SNS operations, but also for corporate operations .
This time we will explain this template in detail, so please read to the end!
I want to manage multiple SNS accounts at once!
Now that social media has become an indispensable tool, I think there are many individuals and companies who post on multiple social media platforms .
I usually post about Notion mainly on YouTube, but I also post on Twitter and note.
However, paying attention to multiple social media platforms at the same time can be quite a mental strain, and before you know it, your attention often ends up being biased towards one platform.
Another point that can be difficult to decide is which tools to use to manage posting content and schedules, and record analysis .
Excel and spreadsheets are the mainstream, but they can be a bit difficult to use on smartphones, and it can be hard to manage multiple social media accounts at a glance .
This time, I created a Notion social media planner template that lets you manage multiple social media accounts in one place ! Notion is easy to use on your smartphone or iPad, so you can manage your social media accounts more easily.
This is a recommended way to use it not only for personal use, but also for managing and analyzing posts for companies that operate social media.
This template also features Notion AI ! Take this opportunity to take advantage of AI and make using Notion even more convenient.
How to manage your social media with Notion.
Now, let's take a look at the details of the template we're distributing this time and how to use it.
1. Open the page of the social networking site you want to manage.
The SNS Planner contains three pages: Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Let's open the page of the SNS you want to manage!
Of course, you can also duplicate pages to add more social media accounts, or change the title and icon to manage other social media accounts.
Each page contains "Post Management/Analysis" and "Follower Progress" for each platform. Here we will show you how to use it using Instagram as an example!
2. Come up with ideas for posts and write them down
When posting on social media, the first thing to do is come up with ideas for posts.
This "Post Management and Analysis" allows you to complete everything from coming up with ideas for posts to creating the content and analyzing it after posting, all in one place .
First, think about what you want to post, and when an idea comes to mind, make a note of it in the "Post Idea" section of the title.
If you have several different types of content to share, we recommend selecting the "genre" tag, as it will make it easier to understand.
3. Let Notion AI handle your posts
Once you have an idea for a post, the next step is to create the content of the post on the page.
However, coming up with the details of the content and the actual post text can be quite a hassle and requires a lot of brainpower. In times like these, we recommend using NotionAI !
In fact, NotionAI has many features that automatically create sentences . This time, let's use AI to help us come up with content for Instagram posts!
To use NotionAI, open each post page, place the cursor on a blank line, click the "+" button or type "/ai", and select "Ask AI."
A box will then appear where you can write your request to the AI. In this case, I've included my post idea in the title, so I'll type in " Please think of an Instagram post that matches the page title. "
Then, like this, the AI automatically created the post content !
If you actually read it, you'll be surprised at how accurate it is. And at the end, it even properly sets hashtags! Lol
Once you adjust the details, your post will be complete in no time.
If you haven't used NotionAI yet, take this opportunity to make good use of it and use Notion more conveniently!
4. Easily manage your progress and schedule
In "Post Management/Analysis", you can also manage the status of your posts .
When you are creating content, change it to " In Progress " and when you have finished posting, change it to " Published ."
Once you have completed your post and decided on the posting date, enter the date in the " Posting Date " field. You can then check your posting schedule by date on the calendar below.
Also, if you go back to the top page, you can see an overview of your posting schedule for all social media platforms, not just Instagram.
It can be difficult to pay attention to multiple social media accounts at the same time, but this way you can see the big picture without any bias!
5. Analyze your posts
Once you've posted, it's time to analyze it.
As an example, here we have included items such as reach, number of likes, and number of saves, which are common to the insights (analytics) of each social media platform.
Once you have accumulated a certain number of posts, you can compare the numbers to see which posts received the best response, which you can use to come up with ideas or for your next post.
6. Have fun achieving your follower goals
When using social media, the number of followers is an important goal.
In the "Followers Progress" section of each page, we've made it a little more fun to manage your goals in a game-like way!
To use it, first set the date you want to achieve your goal for each milestone, such as 1,000 people or 10,000 people, and when you achieve it, simply check it off to record the date you achieved it.
I hope you can continue to share your thoughts while enjoying the progress you make towards your goals!
