Happy New Year! The new year has finally begun.
Have you ever thought, "This year I'm going to do XX!" but then failed to achieve it? Setting goals and being conscious of them every day is harder than you might think.
This time, we will introduce a "Goal Achievement Notebook Template" that allows you to set goals, keep a diary and log your daily habits to get closer to them, and reflect on your progress over the course of a month or year.

Even if your goals are a little high, they will surely become easier to achieve if you use habits and reflection to your advantage. Make use of this page and achieve your goals this year!

1. Overall view of the template
The template consists of four sections: a " Goals " section for writing down your goals; a " Daily Log " section for recording your daily habits and diary entries; a " Monthly Review " section for reflecting on your progress; and a " Yearly Review " section.

There are four databases in total, each corresponding to a part as shown below. For more details, try opening the database in the template.
- DB_Goal : Database for the "Goal" part
- DB_day : Database for the "Daily Log" part
- DB_Month : Database for the "Monthly Review" section
- DB_year : Database of the "yearly review" section
This template uses the four databases mentioned above and links them together using the " relationship function ."
💡What is the Relationship feature? This is a function that links multiple databases. For example, by linking a "Goal" database to a "Year" or "Month" database, you can select the year and month to achieve that goal in the properties section. The "Goal" details will also be displayed in the properties of the "Year" and "Month" databases.
2. Write down your goals
First, in the "Goals" section, write down what you want to achieve this year.
- Create a new page using the "+ New" button.
- Open the page and write your goal in the title.
- Select the genre by tag.
- "DB_Year" selects the page for that year.
- In "DB_Month", select the specific month in which you want to work on that goal.

By selecting the year and month here, it will be reflected in the monthly and yearly reviews that we will introduce later.
3. Manage your daily habits and diary
In the "Daily Log" section, you can manage your habits and diary. I've applied the " Habit Tracker Template " and " Diary Template " and put them all together in one database.

First, decide what you want to make into a habit. The key point here is to think about how you can achieve the goal you set earlier . For example, if your goal is to "start studying English," try to incorporate studying English into your habits.

Once you've set your habit items, you can start recording your daily log. Open the page, check off your habits, and write in the diary section. When you check off a habit, the achievement rate is automatically displayed, making it easy to see at a glance how much you've achieved.

And if you select the month you want to achieve in the goal section mentioned earlier, your goal will also be displayed here. This way you can see it every day, which makes it easier to keep your goal in mind.
3. Reflect
3-1. Monthly review
Once you set a goal, it's important to reflect on whether you achieved it properly. After a month is over, try reflecting on your monthly progress.
To reflect on each month, use the "Monthly Reflection" section. Open the page for the month you want to reflect on.

This monthly page is linked to the "Daily Log" and "Goals" databases, so when you open the page you can see your progress towards your habits for the month and your goals for that month.

You can see at a glance how much of a habit you have achieved, and it's easy to see which habits you were able to keep up and which you weren't able to keep up.
You can also check the goals you set for that month here, and check off any you have achieved.
Finally, write a reflection on the past month in the "Reflection" section. If there were habits you were unable to continue or accomplishments you were unable to make, digging deeper into why you were unable to do so may help you decide how to spend the next month.

3-2. Looking back on the year
At the end of the year, just like with your monthly reflections, take a look back at the year as a whole in the "Yearly Reflection" section.

When you open the page, you can look back at your achievement rate for the past year and how well you achieved the goals you set for that year.

Just like with the monthly review, write down your overall review of the year in the "Review" section.
When setting goals for next year, be sure to use the previous year's review page as a reference.
