Why organize your wardrobe with Notion?

When you're shopping, have you ever wondered, " Will this go with the clothes I already have? " or wondered, " What do I even have? "

When it comes to clothes, it's surprisingly easy to lose track of what you own... Before you know it, you've bought the same clothes over and over again.

So I created a clothing list in Notion so I could see what clothes I own while I'm out and about!

Not only did it make choosing clothes easier , but it also gave me the motivation to declutter , so I thought it would be great to share it in more detail today!

How to build a wardrobe.

Now, let's take a closer look at the contents of this page .

At the top is a list of the clothes I own .

You can also use the tabs to view lists by category, such as a list of tops or a list of bottoms .

On each item's page, I make notes about these items.

• Genre
• color
• brand
• season
• Number of possessions
• price

Color, brand, and season are tags, so you can narrow down your search using filters . It would be great for revising your wardrobe by filtering by season when it's time to change your clothes!

Below is a list of the clothes I want .

In fact, this is also in the same database as the clothes you own, and it displays items that do not have the "Do you own it?" check box .

In other words, when you buy something you want, you check it off and it automatically goes into your wardrobe . It's so convenient!

This is where Notion came in handy.

Finally, I'd like to share some of the things I found useful when creating a wardrobe using Notion.

1. You can see what clothes you have at home while you're out and about.

Notion can be viewed on your smartphone, so it's convenient to be able to view the pages you create even when you're out and about.

When I'm shopping and I find a piece of clothing I want, I can open the wardrobe page and immediately see what clothes I already have , so I can immediately tell whether the piece will go well with the clothes I already have.

Also, when I can't decide on a color or design, I can immediately see which colors are easy to match and which colors I don't have, so it's become easier to choose clothes !

This will surely prevent you from making the mistake of buying the same clothes again and again.

2. It can be a trigger for decluttering.

Whether it's just when I'm changing my clothes or doing a thorough cleaning, I often find myself looking back at the pages in Notion and being surprised at how many clothes I have.

By managing my clothes properly in this way, I feel like I want to keep only my favorite clothes , and I feel like I should declutter and get rid of things I don't wear, so this was an unexpectedly good point.

You can also limit the number of tops you own to a certain number, so I highly recommend it for people who want to reduce the amount of things they own !

3. It can also double as a clothing wish list.

You can also clip the clothes you want, so you can compare them with the clothes you already own and carefully consider whether you really need them, which has helped me to spend less money.

Another very convenient feature is that when you buy something you want, you check it off and it automatically adds to your wardrobe!
